Mother's Day

May 8th, 2010

Today was kind of an eventful day! Dad and I spent like 3 or 4 hours out and about getting ready for mothers day. Leave it to a man to wait until the last minute! Daddy also bought me some new walking/running shoes, so my walks and future runs will be awesome! We picked up everything we needed to make mothers' day brunch and dinner...and it is gonna be good! We also picked up a few gifts for my mom; I had purchased my gift a few weeks ago and it still hasn't come =(. Whatever...the thought counts! My mom is amazing, and I think she will really enjoy her day tomorrow. She has gone through so much in her life. I have felt like her rock, when her mom died I was the strong one, when things are hard, I'm the strong one. This is a role a took on, not one that was placed upon me. So, when I get sick, or things go wrong with me its so hard to come clean to her because I know she has bigger things to deal with. But in reality, she will always worry about me, be there for me, pray for me. She is my rock. As much I try to hold her up, she is there holding me first. I love you mom. Happy Mother's Day!
